Antique Silver Embroidery ScissorsFrench * Early 1900s
These little antique embroidery scissors have silver handles embossed with roses all around the bows and shanks
. Acanthus leaves add a pleasing shape at the top of the bows. They are marked with the French boar's head silver hallmarks for
800/1000 pure silver made in Paris.
The condition of the silver is excellent with no splits or dents and they are lightly gilded.
The steel blades have intact points and they cut well to the tips.
The scissors measure 3 1/2" long and the blades are marked "France" and "Dhel".
