    Isn't he cute!!
    Made in Japan in the 1930s, this little guy is made of celluloid.
    It is in great condition - no splits or cracks in the seams
    The billy club controls the cloth tape which pulls out and retracts perfectly
    VERY strong spring
    It appears on page 29 of the Arbittier and Morphy book "Collecting Figural Tape Measures"
