  • Condition: French 18k gold sewing tools in etui / case , monogram RB, with scissors, thimble, needle case and punch, made by Tahan rue de la Paix Paris, late 19th century. All the pieces are hallmarked with the eagle head, french 18k gold guarantee. They measure: 4 1/4' (10.8cm) by 2 1/8" (5.4cm) for the case, 5/8" (1.7cm) diameter 7/8" (2.2cm) height for the thimble, 3 5/8" (9.2cm) length for the scissors, 2 1/2" (6.4cm) length for the needle case, 2 5/8" (6.8cm) length for the punch, weight with the case 5 oz (142grams) and for the gold tools 0.8465oz (24 grams). The thimble is not original, it's too height for the case locks properly. Beautiful condition as shown by the following pictures.

    French 18k gold sewing tools in etui / case , monogram RB, with scissors, thimble, needle case and punch, made by Tahan rue de la Paix Paris, late 19th century. All the pieces are hallmarked with the eagle head, french 18k gold guarantee.
