VINTAGE RARE GERMAN FIGURAL TAPE MEASURE - HAND PAINTED FIGURAL MAN'S HEAD! EXC!

The item up for auction is an Antique Figural Tape Measure, all HAND PAINTED and in EXCELLENT CONDITION!  No chips, hairlines or repairs.  The paint is all original, detailed and still all in superb condition.  This is a retractable vintage Tape Measure which works perfectly!  This figural Man's head is (hard paste) porcelain or pottery and looks German.  It looks like something Schafer and Vater would have made in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany around 1900 or so.  (Please note: there is glare and shading on these photo's due to lighting only and nothing on the piece.)  This sweet antique figural tape measure is about 2 " high to the top of the ball for the tape measure and just under 1 and 3/4" long by 1 and 1/8" across, as measured on the bottom.  I have included a lot of photo's of this cool piece.  I have never found an antique tape measure like this figural before!  It would make an awesome addition to your vintage sewing collectible items or vintage tape measure collection!
